Hi,

I have a HTC Sensation running android 2.3.4.

I updated some album info on most of my songs and now it says that the 'file type cannot be played' or something along those lines.

I have duplicates of all these songs listed, one that plays, one that doesn't.

PowerAMP plays these just fine and lists no duplicates, howver I use the stock player.

On my pc, it tells me there is only one copy so I assume that it is creating links to old or non existent files.

Any ideas how to get it to rebuild my library properly and stop listing these?

Does anyone know the location of the cache file that I can delete?

You can clear the cache from the settings menu under manage applications find the player and clear the cache you can also clear data from there but you will have to go through all your settings again if you do that.
