Default Loading MP3's to a MyTouch 4G

When I plug my phone into my PC via USB I can drag and drop MP3's into the audio folder without issue, however, when I go to Media Room on the phone it tells me "Please insert an SD card with music". Well it has an SD card in it.

Any idea whats going on here?

Welcome to AF.

Are you trying to play the media whilst the phone is still attached to the PC in Disk Drive mode? If no, when you disconnect are you doing it properly (via the icon on the taskbar in Windows).

If you head to Settings -> Storage, is there an SD Card mounted?

Hi.....no, not trying to play while attached to the PC. Disconnection usually just pulling the USB cable out. Yes..there is an 8gb SD card in the phone.
