I have this Samsung Admire and was playing around with it.

I found this interesting and not sure if it helped videos and games or not but thought I should mention it here.

This is for rooted phones and I am not responsible if you break your phone

If you go to System/build.prop and open it with the text editor you will notice alot of codes and xml language.

Scroll down til you see:

#MM Camera
ro.media.enc.vid.m4v.fps=5, 15

there are others as well.

Also you will see:
ro.media.enc.vid.fps.min=5, 15
ro.media.enc.vid.fps.max=5, 15

And lastly:

ro.tether.denied=true

Change the value from 15 to 30 and true to false.

Let me know if this improves video speed and function.
