ASF file format support

Hello,

I want to play/Stream asf files on android. I tried using android media player but i am getting unsupported file type exception. Does any one have experience with asf file formats with android. Any help would be highly appriciated...

I would be very interested in learning more about possible ASF support in Android. I have no desire necessarily to implicitly endorse a Microsoft format, but that's the format being used for some of the media streamers I use...and as I understand it, .asf is not supported presently in Android.

Love the platform and enjoy supporting it, but I think this would be something to consider adding. Present options amount to restreaming the content through services like orb, which aren't always practical...
