Default Trying to change the General MIDI soundfont on Android

Hey forum,
I am trying to see if it is possible to change the MIDI sounds that my android device uses in order to play MIDI files. I assume it uses a soundfont deep in the system, but I understand that I could be completely wrong. Does anyone know of a way to do this? So far the only answer I have gotten is that I need a technician to do it, but I would rather try and fail myself in order to gain the experience. No pain, no game, right?
I am using a Sony Ericcson Xperia Play r800x running Android 2.3.3.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, even if you are just saying that it isn't possible (as long as it is actually not). Thank you in advance.
