Default Skyfire compatible websites.

I was hoping that there would be a thread where it lists all the websites that are compatible with the Skyfire browser. Besides the pre-loaded sites, are there any more that some of you tested?

Funny or Die . and ummm a few other sites that I would not care to mention. haha

Compatible

http://www.funnyordie.com/
http://www.casttv.com/( the page doesn't render well. The page is cut off)
http://music.aol.com/(Music Videos)
http://www.veoh.com/(watch movies and shows. Movie selection isn't that great.)
http://pokemonepisode.org/(All pokemon including new episodes)
HULU off again. sucks. but keep checking everytime skyfire has an update.
http://www.watchsouthparkonline.net/

Other Sites (tested by the community)
TV Network for Primetime, Daytime and Late Night Television Shows - NBC Official Site
FOX Broadcasting Company
Business & Financial News, Breaking US & International News | Reuters.com
Dailymotion - Online Videos, Music, and Movies. Watch a Video Today!
ESPN: The Worldwide Leader In Sports
CBS TV Network Primetime, Daytime, Late Night and Classic Television Shows
That's Phucked! - Phucked Up Videos, Pictures and stories. If it's phucked up, we write about it

http://www.davidmovie.com/ (watch movies about David...jk. You can watch movies online.)

I think anything related to HULU won't play on Skyfire. But I just added a few more sites.

Skyfire browser? I've never used that, the webkit is OK, I think, it displays websites very well!

Maybe i should change this thread's title to skyfire non compatible websites because so far aside from hulu based websites, I have been able to go on any website that have flash video. This browser is awesome.

I recommend you give it a shot. It's quite different from any browser available in the market.

Yeah, it was the first browser I searched for when I got my droid. I like the android layout better than the winmo version.

If we're going to include porn the OP will need to edit the title of the thread to include NSFW. Otherwise, loose the porn.

FYi- I just found this out but if you already knew this ...then disregard.

Skyfire uses the native browser to access their content. So don't delete the native browser or else skyfire won't work. I found this out this morning when I flashed a new ROM. DOH!

Has anyone tried using ATDHE.NET with skyfire? I can not get it to work. Was just wondering if anyone else has had any luck?

I'm guessing that's a typo. Hulu works with the update. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get a video to load but it works!

Add megavideo to the list too. I managed to get it working. Although it did buffer a lot, it still played and was really good quality. I'm hoping skyfire continues to improve to the point where its better then the stock browser with full flash support. I've been hearing since it uses html5 video codec it will use less battery then flash.

I watch that show religiously! lol
I'm gonna be pretty sad when it's all over with..
In my opinion, it's still in pretty good standing, but they're right to stop after this season. I don't think they would have been able to drag it on for another season and kept it interesting though..

Has anyone else had Hulu stop working. It played fine until this evening. Now it shows the "video not compatible with your device" message. They work pretty fast.

If you get that message, hit back and try it again. It should work. I was watching Modern Family today.

LOST has gotten better this season. The season where they kept flashing forward was the one that screwed me up. I think it was too much. Made my brain hurt. haha.

Sadly I think the have "fixed" hulu to no longer work on Skyfire...Now the question becomes, does Skyfire play cat and mouse with Hulu by trying to get it working again? (Ala Palm/Apple)?

**EDIT** Oh, and this season of Lost has been seriously kick ass!!

How are you getting that site to work? Every link I "click" on asks me to sign up for something.

I wanna watch Iron Man too.

A spinoff? I don't know. I heard that Ben and Locke (well not the show characters) are getting there own show. Not sure what it is but both of them are awesome actors.

Mega video is iffy. I've tried it a couple of times but it hangs at 25% then stops working. I'll add just in case it's just me.

I tried this and some of the movies send me to megavideo and it quits loading at the 25% mark. Darn, but it looks like it should work.

Cross it off the list. Like Hulu it worked the first day of the update then it just stopped working.

Yeah it used to load up perfectly. Now it just hangs at 25% like you said.
How are you guys getting davidmovies to work. It keeps taking me to a site not found page when I click on watch online.

Edit: ok davidmovies works even when you get the page unavailable message. I don't know if it will work for everyone but if you sit at the page the video will eventually load up. I'll test some of the movies to see how many work.

Well David Movie uses other websites to host the movie. Like Iron Man 2 worked. I'm watching it right now. But other movies use MegaVideo, which doesn't.

This is freakin sweet!

I wanna watch Iron Man too.

The Ironman movie that loads up in DavidMovie.com takes you to Zshare.net (or something like that) it should work. I'm watching it right now at work! sweet. The quality isn't that good though but it's ok.

ATDHE.NET is pretty good. It pulls feeds off of Justin.TV, but has everything linked up, nice and organized. Lots of sports, and all the major networks.

I'm guessing the sites that Adobe released for the 10.1 are also compatible with Skyfire.

No. Videos load but get stuck at 25% when trying to view.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I came across another site that is compatible with the Skyfire browser (and the default android browser in some cases).

It is the free tv project and is located here:

Watch all tv series online for FREE

It has a very large listing of TV series including many new series. Just as other sites like davidmovies.com link to places like megavideo this one does as well. Most of what I have seen are links to veoh, tudou, youtube, and megavideo. Of course the megavideo links do not work as discussed above but the veoh and tudou links work great in Skyfire. If you come across a youtube video you will be better served loading that up in the default browser as it will automatically link to the embedded youtube player.

When you first go to the site and click on a TV show or a season you will be presented with quite a few about:blank windows with just white screens. Hit the back button and select a different series. You may get a few more about:blank windows but eventually the page will load properly. For some reason it seems as though once the browser "learns" how to load the pages then they all load perfectly from that point on. Don't have a clue why this is. For the youtube episodes I would suggest going to this post and downloading the updated youtube.apk which will give you HQ youtube episode videos.

Of course you have to install the apk at your own risk. Again I apologize if this has been covered already but I did not see it in this thread.
