I think that just means they are selling them before they come in. Several weeks ago my daughter-in-law got one and had to wait.
Maybe with the Droid X shipping, they'll finally catch up on the Incredible. (I chose the X and got it last week.) It looks like Droid X expected ship date is getting pushed out pretty fast.
