Its a known fact that these companies create some of the viruses, and others are viruses claiming to be an antivirus... They do this to promote business and because if we had no fear of getting infected we would have no reason to buy their stuff....

I use Lookout on my phone and AVG on all my Pc`s.... I just make sure not to click dumb links or just download anything, and it seems to work out... But I seem to be reloading/ data recovering 2-3 laptops a week from the supposed virus scan malware...

This is (almost) not news. Android is open source, and its security holes are well known. Facebook is one of the worst sites in the world in terms of being a target of virus and malware attacks. The fact that someone decided to combine the two together was simply a matter of things playing out.
