Default Market Updates - Pet Peeve

I am very annoyed with the market. I realize devs don't have to let me know they updated their app (though they should). But when I visit the Market it would be great to be able to understand if a new app with the same name but different vers. exists. Yesterday I updated 12 apps and had to scroll carefully looking for each one.

I sort by date, but the "new" sort by date update has stopped letting a dev tweak a letter and appear at the top of the list. Obviously this is great, but they need to have an update tool. It could be like Windows or Ubuntu where it identifies what we have and then asks us to update to the latest vers.

Ok...thanks for listening.

I know what you mean but what I noticed for apps that has updates and retains the same name, I go to "My Downloads" and check for any apps that got changed from "installed" to "free" status. It works for me
