Is anyone else annoyed by these teasers posted by the admin of a parallel website, which are nothing more than a couple of lines excerpted from articles on said site, with links to the site? Phandroid, are you paying this site for your advertising?

Phandroid is a sister-site. Rob (the admin and owner) controls both Phandroid and AndroidForums.

We've discussed moving all Phandroid auto-posts (every post on Phandroid spins a post here) to another section, but we are still working on that.

Perhaps making the phandroid bot an admin or something would help clear the confusion..

Yes. The David's (Blaine and Copperfield) learned everything they know from Phandroid.

Yes. We have a super-secret section that completely blocks you. Well...I guess it's not so super-secret any more, but you still can't get in unless "ur a haxzor."
