[ICONS] "Simple" Text - *updated 12/14/2010*
I've had several requests for the text icons on my phone, so I've decided to make them available for download for everyone. There is a PSD in the zip, so you can make your own if you like... but if you have suggestions for me to add, let me know.
You can add these icons to LauncherPro, or to your desktop by using Desktop Visualizer. Enjoy!

is there an icon for people or contacts? I can't seem to find it and just wanted to make sure I wasn't ******ed

I added most of those (or abbreviations). I love the font, but it's hard to squeeze some words into that little space.

How do I make my own colors...I went in to recolor the green "apps" one light blue in GIMP, but man, it's....sketchy lol. Not as smooth...it's sharp. Any help would be awesome!

Hrm. If you tell me the color (hex or RGB would be fine), I'll make one for you. Not sure how else to go about it. GIMP and Photoshop don't seem to get along for text.

House Industries - Neutraface
If you have a Mac, the "Futura" font is very similar.

Send me the wallpaper and let me know what part it is. I can grab it. Not sure how to do it in GIMP.

Sorry I know this question has been asked a million times but, I have a droid incredible and using launcher pro, these icons show up so tiny. What am I doing wrong?! Do I need to make them bigger?

I think it just has to do with the way LauncherPro renders icons. I don't know how to make them any bigger.

It could be the resolution on the Incredible vs the Eris. I still haven't seen an explanation
why they're smaller, and I've looked. I'd like them to be bigger even on my phone. If you do find out, let me know, I'll fix mine.

I'm trying to mess around with them in photoshop, but their dimensions are the same as the icons I have on my phone regular size. These ones are not in the launcher though so maybe you are right about launcher pro making them smaller. It's weird because all of them are doing this including the tall icons by lekky.

Yep, and it's the same thing if you make the icons 64x64 or 128x128. I went with the larger size for the detail, but it doesn't appear to make any difference in the final size on the dock.

It might have something to do with the amount of space is around the words. When I just use the minimum amount around the words, the icon is a lot bigger on my desktop. I will try it in launcher pro and see what happens and let you know.

I was wondering if there is a way that the icon text can be changed to red? I tried to do it on photoshop with no success at all.

Create a folder on your SD card called "icons" and put them in there. When you choose to use the custom icon go to that folder.
