Only thing I can think if is to try a launcher, like ADW launcher.
With ADW, you'll be able to adjust the size of your clock, and also play with the number of rows and colums on your home screen.
This should help you get your clock the way you like it.

I love seeing women post their customizations. Good job and thanks for sharing the heart. Would you happen to have a pair of lips as an icon? I've searched everywhere and can't find one in the same style as your heart.

Yep. I love it. I have medications that I'm *required* to take, so I have all my prescriptions and dosages and doctors phone numbers and stuff. Great app, much nicer than just a simple list of phone numbers.

If you happen to like that exact look, but don't want it cut off like that, try widgetsoid:
Widgetsoid2.x - Android app on AppBrain
It's very customizable, and you can make it look almost exactly like the digital clock widget. It won't be cut off in landscape mode, either.
