Unhappy Wallpaper dilemma Ö. Need Help

I have the Samsung Behold 2 and Iím using Open Home Full version 3.6.1.

Iím trying to set a custom wallpaper but to no avail. I edited the image to 640 x 480 and saved it as a .png file. The problem Iím having is when I try to set it as my wallpaper; it wonít allow the orange crop box to go any bigger than just a portrait size. I played around with adjusting the arrows and moving the box all over the photo but it wonít cover the entire picture no matter what I do.

I then downloaded wallpaper set & save from the market after researching the forum regarding this same problem and it actually does help a little bit better but I notice that when I set an image as wallpaper it still doesnít capture the entire photo even though itís 640 x 480. Iíd say it captures about 80% of it but anything along the edge is not visible.

Is there any fix for this?

I think that's a problem with Open Home. I have the same problem with Pandahome, and read somewhere here (in the Droid forum, I think) of someone having the same issue with Open Home.

I use Wallpaper Set & Save as a workaround. As long as the wallpaper you select is the right dimensions, it works fine. (There's no option to crop the image.)

How Do I Change The Wallpaper (Screen Saver) On My SGH-T919 (Behold) Phone?

To change the Display Wallpaper follow the steps below:

From the idle screen, press on Menu
Press on Settings
Press on Display Settings
Press on Wallpaper
Press on Images
Press on the desired Image then press on Set or press on Photos then press on the desired picture
Press on Set to save the image as the Display Wallpaper
Tip: Use the sizing bar, on the left side of the image, to reduce (-) or enlarge (+) the image. The image can also be centered by scrolling up and down and/or left and right or rotated.

The T919 is the original Behold (a dumbphone).

This is the T939 Behold II

A second here on WSS. It looks like the BH2 wallpaper setting functionality only lets you set one screen at a time. The only way I've found to have it go the full 640x480 is to use Wallpaper Set & Save.

I did find a workaround. If you use .png images instead of jpg. ... wallpaper set & save will give you the full 640 x 480.

For some reason I still had it saved as a jpg image.

Problem fixed
