For some reason, it wont let me take a screen shot, running 2.1. Open up DDMS.BAT, but no device listed. USB debugging enabled...

I'm using the Cliq XT, I haven't came across a method to root it so I can't use the Shoot-Me app, and when I try to use the screenshot app I get some error message and it won't work so I had to take my pic with a webcam. I can't wait to root this thing...

just take your screen resolution, (480x320) x 3 (amount of desktop side by side) or even (640x480) and put all your 3 picture side by side to create one big picture.
its like a 5 minutes thing to do. Canno't be done "on the fly" from the phone tought.
I could probably do it for you if you want but would be on my free times.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, because when you slide from one home screen to the next, the wallpaper doesn't actually move one whole screen worth. I think there's an app that allows you to set different wallpapers for different screens though. I'll see if I can find it later.

Update: okay I found the app that lets you do this. It's called Wallpaper Plus. A link to more info is below, as well as the QRcode to download it.
One caveat: it's gonna cost ya $1.99 --- you can always return it within 24hrs if you try it and you're not satisfied

Only had my desire since Tuesday so here is my home made wallpaper, had a little trouble finding the usb debugging for the sdk to work but got there in the end lol
been having fun designing my own wallpapers had a little trouble getting sizing, but think i am getting there
