hey everyone! I have a few questions. I am trying to do a 3 page setup with one wallpaper but three separate screens with embedded txt/icons. Can this be done? I have ADW and Launcher Pro. Any feedback would be welcome! Thanks!

In order to change the statusbar icons and the system font you have to be rooted.
To change the system font you can use an app like "font changer" or put the font manually into the correct system folder with root explorer.
For the statusbar icons, I'm not entirely sure how to do it, since I have MIUI ROM which has a theme manager included and so I can choose from different themes. Some of the themes have different statusbar icons as well.
But like I said, unfortunately you have to be rooted.
|
Thanks for your help filling in some info! I guess I will have try rooting my phone in the near future when I have more free time.
Now I gotta find a good theme that I like, that has green in particular!

Are you trying to use the same wallpaper but with different embedded text and icons on each screen? If so, you can try MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. It will allow you to use a different wallpaper for each homescreen. So you can make three different versions using same wallpaper and put on each screen.

I was looking to make a wallpaper with the sports logo in the center screen and the the side screens with a lineup card or play chart. Something like that. Sounds like Multipicture Live Wallpaper is my answer! I will check it out! Thanks for the response!

My Optimus One currently:

The other 6 screens all have LauncherPro widgets on them: Calendar, Bookmarks, People, Facebook, Gmail, Messaging.
Pretty simple

You know, I wonder if I got my extreme attraction to cute, petite women due to Princess Leia/Carrie Fisher. She's only 5'1" and most of the girls I've dated were about the same (couple slightly less, couple slightly more)

I have been trying to find a nice piano's keys wallpaper so I could what you guys have been doing lately, create a home screen where I could use the piano's keys as a place to put icons/widgets. I've been searching to no avail until now... Does anyone have a good wallpaper for me?
Thanks in advance!

Still a work in progress and already changing things up a bit. Resized the wallpaper so i could crop into 3 different screens for multiwall paper.
Nowhere near perfect but not bad for someone with no real clue what he is doing. All hit and miss and Google for tutorials when I come up with an idea on what i want to try.

Nothing on the left and right screens yet.

Do you have to have a rooted phone in order to do that because mine is stock.
any help would be great.
Thanks!

1- I don't even remember any more what clock that is. That was a while ago I did that screen.
2- I changed the ROM and the green is part of the ROM.
3- I changed the font with Font Changer in the Market. (You have to be rooted)
I have all my androids rooted with custom ROMS and Kernals on them. You can do pretty much everything with a rooted phone.
