How do i save images from the Web browser to my esteem. Better yet how do i save the wallpapers directly to my phone?

just long press on the mimage and save it..
definitely works in opera mini, havent tried in other browsers..

Works on Dolphin Browser Mini, Boat Browser Mini, Stock browser...
Pretty much all of em should have this feature. If one doesn't than it shall be banished!!

Hey i tried to set one of the pics as a wallpaper but when i did it from the Flickr link this site gave for wallpaper the pic quality as a wallpaper is really blurry. Where or how do i make the pics i save from the internet high Resolution?(quality).

when you are viewing a pic, its not the actual size..
you need to click the image and then the full size image pops up.
now do as above (long press)
this should dwnld the image in full size and quality.
again i'd say i've tried this only on opera mini
alternatively u can search google for hd 640x480 pics (its a pretty common size, should fit all with lil bit of cropping)
or

Yeah you are at the mercy of the resolution of the original image. As vipul said its smart to search Google images and just filter for the image size you need.

Since you mentioned Flickr..... if it is a photograph taken by someone... and the original resolution is small... you will prob not be able to find it on Google.
