Default Icons for Go Launcher

I am using Go Launcher and seem to be having a real issue trying to locate free icons for this. It seems the majority of good ones are for ADW.

Anyone point me to where the free icons for Go Launcher are?

Actually what you can do is try out free themes which offer plenty icons. Download and install the theme, then just use the theme icons with whatever other theme you want to use.

You can do that in Go Launcher, apply abc theme and use xyz icons on it. It is under preferences.

Yeah I tried that but, unless I am missing something, there are not alot of themes for Go Launcher.

There are actually a LOT of themes for Go Launcher (I get more than a few pages searching on the market). Actually those themes are the icon packs. The difference on Go Launcher is that unlike other launchers where when that particular app lacks an icon for that theme, it still changes to fit the theme by being placed into a "container" icon, while on other launchers they remain untouched.

As for icons on the homescreens, you can use any icon you want. I actually use simple text icons along with my rocketdock icons.

yep icons are basically inside the themes..
& definitely ADW has more themes than GO, but GO has many too if u are ready to shell some money out.. free ones are a few..

You can use any icon you want as long as it's in png format and located in an appropriate folder on your phone. There are many sites on the web where you can download free icons.

Right now, my biggest battle is with the dock. I don't want the dock but rather have actual icons but I cannot seem to find where I alter the dock, dock appearance, etc.

Is this an app for Go Launcher or something?

What exactly do you want to change? The icons?

The dock on my current theme is pissing me off lol! I want to remove it completely and have just icons.

My other big pain in the buttocks is that I use a widget called Gmail notifier, since the regular gmail icon doesn't notify me of using a red star, etc of new messages. The issue with gmail notifier widget is that it won't let me change the icon. Also the Live Profile icon won't let me change it either.

Anyways, here is my desktop theme:

Seems they removed the option to change the dock's look. It changes with the theme though.

I believe with "Gmail Unread Count" in the market you can change the icon to anything you want. It's the widget I used to use, and it is free.

My biggest and really only complaint with Go Launcher is the fact that the icons are so small. I want them to be more of the MIUI/MotoBlur size.

i dont remember exactly but i think u have swipe gestures in settings.
assign one gesture to hide/show dockbar.
swipe once and hide it.
then go back and remove that gesture to do nothing..
there, dock hidden

I had "Gmail Unread" but apparently, the most recent version of the android system does not support this widget/app. I am so suprised this isn't rectified by now

Latest update changed a few things around...
To change the dock:
Menu-Preferences-Character Settings-Backgrounds-Dock Background
Options are to Hide/Go/Custom
To change Icon Size:
Menu-Preferences-Character Settings-Icon Size
Options are Default/Large/DIY
