aHome, Panda Home, OpenHome, and dxTop are all themeable home screen replacements. They are all paid apps, with the exception of Panda Home. So maybe the reason you cannot find them on the market is due to paid apps not being available in your area?
What Knitewulf is talking about is for rooted phones
only. It allows much greater customization than theming a home replacement. But the way you worded your OP, it doesn't sound like that is what you are asking about.
