Tim Lincecum
Matt Cain
Buster Posey
Aubrey Huff
Brian Wilson
Cody Ross
Madison Bumgarner

If u could just have the name and the number of the player on each one and/or incorporate the 2010 world series logo too. i know its a lot but I figure worst comes to worst, you'll just say no. In absolutely no rush to get this either so feel free to take all the time u need on this. Thanks in advance :-)
And... Here's the final four. Again, hope that you like them - especially since you've now got seven of them!

Same deal to save, so,

Phone, Gmail, app drawer icon - preferably a non text icon, so any graphic you think would look good, XDA, Google Voice - just Voice for the icon works fine.
If it isn't to much trouble, if you could make a variant with the Voice icon replaced with SMS since I swap between the two occasionally, t'would be appreciated.

Feel free to tend to all the wallpaper requests first, as always, I'm in no rush.

Ok, on to business... Sure, I'll see if I can come up with something along those lines. Not feeling creative at all right now, so it probably wont be until later tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought those were nice too. Too bad I had no part of creating them other than cropping/resizing/reposting...

Still it is always nice to see your own city... Think I'm gonna rock the GABP one... maybe.....

Wanna be a little more specific here? Young or old Indy? Any ideas on backgrounds?
Original Indy (there was actually a 'Young Indiana Jones' with Sean Patrick Flannery, while pretty good NOT what i was thinking about.
Classic Temple Of Doom with some whip action, possibly with backgrounds showing crazy dude pulling dudes heart out or ark of the covenant..... No rush for real...... i probably wont even be back online for a few days

Oh yea, LOVED lana and kara. (the wallpapers looked good as well, lol)

on topic: anything lana and kara is WIN!! (oops, wrong thread)
Keep up the great work player and no rush, get yourself caught up and such first........

Ok so I think this is where I'm at.

Everyone before stublake's post - http://androidforums.com/android-themes/92348-also-willing-make-wallpapers-50.html#post2649713 - is done. Right?

So, I've got Stu up next (if I hear back from him),
then Toasty's dock,
And finally, NightAngel's Indiana Jones one.

With a little luck, I hope to get those done tomorrow.

If I've missed anyone (hey, it's been a pretty crazy day in here), please let me know and I'll add you to the to-do list.

eyebeam...you are THE man...seriously...is there much you CANT do with wallpapers?

Im not a sports fan myself, but the trading card ones you just did look great....love that look...

and im sure you'll agree...you did good here again...

you actually helped me alot now....there seems to be a graphic bug with fancy widgets that if you have the screen in 5 rows instead of 4 rows like default for HTC devices (and im guessing others as well) the clock cant format correctly and needs to be dragged and take up 3 rows, BUT the ACTUAL clock only takes up 2 so you have a massive empty space underneath that you can use....hence the idea of SOMETHING under the clock...and hanging andy fills that perfectly...

thanks again

oh...and as an edit....I love how the 'andys' looks very mischievous now on my screen....ones eat the dock and the others hanging like a monkey...almost expect him to throw his poo next hahaha...

EDIT: its a low quality pic because of compression just for size reasons.

Argh got same phone and same problem. Scrolling stopped working when I updated to Froyo, but it still works on the built-in ones. Tilting phone doesn't fix it.

It only lets me crop in portrait, not landscape like 2.1 did.

Don't want to have to manually resize them all first, quite liked the crop feature on the phone when it worked.

Hey sqwirral, welcome to AF.

Since I don't have that phone to test things out with, I don't know that I can be much help here. But, here's a few things I can think of to try -

First, I'd try seeing if there's a solution posted, and failing that, posing this question in the phone's specific forum sub-section. The people on here are really knowledgeable and helpful.

You could also try a wallpaper app from the market such as "Wallpaper set and save" or "Wallpaper wizadrii".

You could also see if a home replacement or launcher app solves your problem. Some that come to mind are - PandaHome, AHome, Launcher Pro, ADW launcher and Go launcher.

I hope some of that helps - Good luck!

OK, Toasty - no word from Stu yet, so you're up.

Give these a try out and let me know how it goes.

(BTW - I see here that the edges look a little rough, but when I put it over a wallpaper it looked good. So I hope your results are the same.)

Edit - Here's a simulated screenshot so you and others can see it in use.

yea I bloody love it....it REALLY helps with that row problem I told you bout...I mean I LIKE a minimalist screen BUT I was forced to have it due to stretching the clock because FW doesnt like 5 row format..

I might ask you to do some other andy simulated walls for my calendar and agenda screens too...like I'd do like I did with the clock...use a CLEAR theme for the launcherpro calendar and ask you to do a 'simulated' wallpaper with Andy either eating it or doing something to it again..

it would be like a free-for-all

Um... yeah! that would be GREAT!

Yeah we could do that. Here's my thought on that - I think the wallpaper should simulate scrolling on the different screens so that the color bubbles shift in hue like they do on the whole wallpaper. If you agree, to do that I'll need you to give me a screenshot with your widgets, of each additional screen you want done with 1 each of the blank color bubble wallpaper and on this wallpaper template -

Did that make sense?

OK NightAngel/WaterPik Welcher, here's at least something for you. I lke it and all, but I'm not sure that's really what you wanted. I wasn't really having any luck finding good, hi-res pics to make it the way I thought you'd like. But, I'd guess there's a pretty good chance that I'll revisit this one with a clear head at some point in the future. Of course, I'll let you know if/when I do.

I also ran across this one and I thought it was pretty darn sweet, so I'm posting it too.

not really sure I got you there lol

I use multi live wallpaper anyway....so I have seperate screens for it...im not too fussed with a 'live' like appearence..I also think it will be ALOT of work for you...BUT I will do some screens of the calendar and agenda screens so you can get a size and placement for the 'Andys' to be doing something to either one...

Right this is the 'Agenda' Screen....I basically have shoved it down a lil and want an 'Andy' on the top edge...either biting it or chewing it or whatever you think would look kinda cool really...

I've show two example screens one with the clear back ground theme I WILL use and one showing the kinda background I would like BUT is there anyway you can maybe make the bottom corner that I have highlighted look like its been chewed off? cos thats where the dock Andy is...and I wanna see him

Highlighted corner with 'dark background'
Clear background

-----------------------------------------
And heres the 'Calendar' Screen which is pushed up...so I just want one from the bottom either punching it or biting..again your choice.....I've shown two screens again that show HOW the widget will be and the kinda background I want with it...

I say that background cos I love the green glow round the box edging..

Dark Background
Clear widget

I was just thinking it would be nice to have a slightly different background as you scroll across each of your various screens. But if you'd prefer them all the same that's cool. As far as more work for me - eh, it's not much more at all.

I've got a request for basically this same thing (via PM), then a quicky revision on that last dock (via Picasa) and then I'll get on this.

Sure, I can do that. Any particular player's number you want on it? And for the background, do you want something bright & busy, or more simple such as a texture or gradient?

Get back to me and I'll try to get it done today/tonight.

#35 would be great. And I will let you decide about the background.
Let your artistic side take ahold.

OK eghill, here you are... Hope this works out for you. Let me know.

Alright NNT, let's see if this does it for you... Let me know what you think.

To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

(Dean - I jumped this one ahead of you because I've done quite a few for you recently. Hope you understand. You're up next. Stay tuned...)

I only notice one little issue....where the top andy is biting is right where the header is...and it looks wrong slightly with agenda floating over the bits...

EDIT: actually I just changed the 'theme' for the widget again...and the one I NOW use actually looks fine now....

top notch work eyebeam

top notch...the ONLY thing I notice....both 'backgrounds' need to be about a few pixels wider as the header 'white bar' and a 'date notify' arrow overlap the back JUST slightly by a few pixels..

Do you mean the entire wallpaper backgrounds or the semi-transparent widget backgrounds?

on the left and right edges the 'background' of the widget you embedded into the 'main' wallpaper is just a little too thin...needs to be a bit wider..

perfect eyebeam!!

now for my very LAST request...least to do with this 'theme'....any chance on a lock screen with the same wallpaper colour...but with a whole bunch of andys just going nuts...either hitting each other or biting each other on it...they can be small ones, which I think will work if theres like 7 or 8 of them..

Hmmm... I'll think about how to go about this one and try to work on it tomorrow.

And don't taunt me by making me think I'm in the home stretch here... I know you're just laying in wait thinking up new ideas!

BTW - Just so you know, I was joking about being picky. The white lines hanging over the edges would've driven me nuts!

Here's how I answered this question for someone who emailed me quite a while ago -

Quote:
Ok, here's the easiest way (I think) to do what you want. For your phone a wallpaper should ideally be 960wx800h. For a single screen 480x800.

Lets use this pic as a test run of what I do. Save this -
http://www.portwallpaper.com/imgwal/red-mirrored-room.jpg

Ok - Now go to .: Sumo Paint 3.5 :. (This is the online image editor I like best).

Go to > file > open from my computer, and find and select the above jpeg. This will not be in the correct size, obviously. Now go to the image menu > image size. Since it's clear that you will have excess width, let's not worry about that yet. Check the "constrain proportions" box, and set the height from 768 to 800. This will change the image size from 1024x768 to 1066x800, the correct height for your phone. From here, you could start cropping width to try to get it to the right size, but a much easier way is to go to the select menu, select all, then the edit menu and copy. Now go to the file menu and hit new image and in the box that pops up set the width to 960 and the height to 800. Next go to edit > paste, and your done. To save use the file menu the save to my computer and save as jpeg or png.

I know this sounds like a lot, but trust me, it's much easier that it was to describe. If you need any further clarification, just let me know.

- eyebeam
Of course, you can do the same thing on any image editor. The key here is really on the initial resize. Constraing the proportions, and finding out whether to make the size according to height(800pixels) or width(960pixels). Remember, choose which one so that there's extra of the other, thus filling the entire new image.

I never heard back from him, so I'm not sure if this was clear and/or helpful or not. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you very much. This helped alot. I was confused at first on how to make the picture look clean after resizing the image i wanted, but i was able to work it out by trial and error. From my understanding, you can't just resize any image and expect to get the same perfect image, thus you must crop the picture and leave out some stuff,. Correct me if I'm wrong lol. Thanks again!

awesome I can't wait to see what you've come up with...

and actually no I think im pretty set for awhile now you gave me a great wallpaper to hide that clock format issue...you've also given me an excuse to use wigetzoid more...as I can 'hide' the widgetzoid icons on screen to have them in my notification bar BUT that would mean again another empty ugly space....well now theres an andy there

awesome work

Glad I could help, even if I wasn't completely clear. I taught myself what I know about this stuff, so it's kinda difficult for me to explain clearly how I do things.

As for getting a "clean" image after resizing - yes, that's very likely to be an issue if you're starting with a smaller, low resolution base image. However, I've had great results when starting with larger (even much larger), high-res images, using the method detailed above. If you're also using SumoPaint, make sure when you select the new size that the "Smoothing" option is checked.

Also, yes, some cropping is almost always necessary. The reason I use the "empty frame" method above is that it lets me retain as much of the original as possible. This way I can also move the image around in the new frame to center the part of the image I want (only either height or width, whichever has extra).

I hope the helps to clear things up some.

@ Dean -

And... Here's the lockscreen one. I thought a "barrel-O'-Monkeys" look worked best here. Hope you agree.
