Word!! Thanks, been saving them as jpegs.... will play around with them a little more.
And the way we have been doing sticky's forum wide is in the process of changing so i will make some queries about what is going on in here!!
Thanks for the eyecons!!

Yeah, I don't think Paint saves .jpg's in full quality. I'm not sure. But I save all my custom wallpapers as .jpg's (from Sumo or GIMP) to save space and they look pretty good to me.

Thanks for checking into that. With all I've put into this thread it just seems to me someone could have kept me in the loop with all those changes...

Yea when i do wallpapers and other stuff it looks fine but ALL my screenshots look like crap. I got a 24' widescreen samsung so starting resolution is WAY high (dont remember off top off head) so not sure if that plays a factor

We are moving in a different direction, and will not be using the stickied guides in certain forums where it may not be efficient. I removed that particular guide, and stickied (most) the threads that were in it.
I did include yours in the beginning as I was going through the guide but then realize there were some more universal type threads that could be stickied instead. In an effort to reduce clutter and not make the stickies look too overwhelming, I had 4 (including yours) but then took yours off to shorten the list. This matter of a certain number of stickies per forum was discussed in the moderator's forum as Rob thought they were a little too much, which was why the guides were implemented; so I did not want to create the same situation as before, unless absolutely necessary.
I want the SAME three screens you've done me with the andys BUT...and heres the big but;
1. All the green guidlines round the 'widgets' to be a electric blue (tron like)
2. The Andys to be a bit more machine/circuity like rather than the green...so im thinking a lil black an blue mixed in if you get the idea.
3. Replace the 'htc' circles background with a circuity tron like background....NO image though but just a circuit board abstracty like image...
main thing is....alot of bright blues for lining things...andy's to change colour and maybe look a lil machine like and obviously a dark background..
oh and I say again just leave EVERYTHING where it is....I love the placements of the 'widgets' so all that needs changing is just colours and background etc..
and I needed it by last weekend nah I know your busy anyways and I see your away for a day so whenever is suitable for you eyeB

Hoped that clarified everything.
Well not quite, but thanks for some clarification on the matter. What's mostly got me a little bent out of shape is the renaming of the thread because - 1: People knew the thread by it's previous name and had it bookmarked as such, and 2: If it was going to be changed, I would have liked to be asked about it (or at the very least, notified of it).
But again, I appreciate your taking the time to try to clear things up.

That all seems pretty doable, but I will need some time to figure out how best to do it. Give me a couple of days on that one.
Unless I'm missing something, those seem to be Live wallpapers, so no, I'm afraid I can't help. Sorry. You might try this thread - Custom live wallpapers (not on market) - and see if he can help you out.

Is there anychance of taking these wallpapers an just changing them JUST slightly...
I like the andys and the dock...but the background itself (the circuitry work) seems a lil TOO dark that the andys and dock just melt into it and it kinda looks a bit messy...
anychance on just lightening the background a lil so they seperate?

See my post above about being a little backed-up. However I don't foresee any problem changing the background as requested. Hopefully, I'll be back in the groove tomorrow.

Alright then dangus, here ya go. Hope you like it. Let me know.
p.s. Yeah, I know (now) that I misspelled Sonya on the file name and the description. You know what they say - you get what you pay for! Edit: Ok, I'm too OCD to jsut let it go, so I corrected the description and tag. But I'm NOT deleting the image, opening it up with an editor, changing the file name and then re-uploading it just to fix that! (ok, yeah I probably will, when it bugs me enough .)
You know how to save 'em right? If not see one of my posts above.

Thanks for letting me know. I actually did try lightening the previous background, but I wasn't remotely happy with the results no matter how much more tinkering I did. So I thought it best to go another way. Glad you like the red - I thought it added a nice contrast.

Hey GW, seen you around plenty as well in the "Post your android desktop" thread. You do some really nice stuff.
OK, on to business. I can give it a try. I'm not sure how well I can pull off the mad scientist look, but hey, I'm game. The rest actually shouldn't be too hard. I did find a version of the same pic large enough to use at that resolution, so that's one major hurdle already out of the way. Give me a day or two to figure out how to make the Android look (I'm thinking wild hair and lab coat - do you have any other thoughts on that?).
Edit: Ok so the wild hair idea isn't working. Frankly, it looks kinda stupid, at least how I'm trying it. Now I'm thinking some welding goggles. Sound good?

I am looking for someone who would be willing to make a wallpaper for the HTC Evo. I am looking for a blue (Tron Legacy blue) with a nice whitish blue glow effect, on a black background. However, I'd like the grid to be on a 3d angle.

Is this a possibility?
I'm not quite sure what you're asking for here... Are you saying you want just a blue grid, angling off to the distance (so that the top appears to look further away than the bottom)?

OK GW, here's my take on this idea. Hope that's more or less what you had in mind. Let me know.
While I was at it, I also made one at 960x800 in case anyone wanted a more traditional size.
To save one of them at full 1440x800 or 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

Thanks for letting me know. This one was fun to do. The sad part is that I put a lot of work into getting the lab coat to look right (and I think I succeeded...) before I figured out that most of it would be hidden. I'm not quite as happy with how the apple came out, so I may just re-do that part when I get a little extra time. I'll let you know if I do.

Nice work, as usual! I like what you've done.
And, as far as adding text goes, hey, have a field day. Probably better for you to do that anyway, as you know exactly where you want it to go.
Looks good, however I was just wondering if you could use the Mortal Kombat 9 image (my bad i should have said that previously lol and maybe just a plain black background without the mortal kombat writing at the bottom.
Now who is being picky lol :P
But the image still looks really nice

Hmmm... Ok since I was always more of a Street Fighter kind of a guy, I'm not sure of the difference between a MK9 Sonya or any other. If you could point me in the right direction, I'll get to the changes you want.
Im at work atm...so alot of the pictures I cant view but I will have a look when I am home and I will let you know If thats cool with you?

Hi guys..
I had trying to setup one theme in my (milestone A853),
but it's told me that I don't have the file (update.zip), while I saved it in SD card.
so what can I do?
With all these extremely complicated and cool wallpapers flying around, I'm a little embarrassed to ask for help with my idea.
Being a simple 40+ guy.. I would like a wallpaper for my Galaxy S2 480x800 which basically takes the android green character high resolution (as see on the download screen on the phone) on a plain black background.. really simple.. any chance you could help me out please?

No, I don't know what to do to help here. But I see you started a new thread with the same question, which is more likely to get you some answers. Good luck!
