That base image is pretty small. I'll see what I can do, but no guarantees on how good it'll look. Got the Firebird one ahead of you, so tonight or tomorrow.

@ LSXMMA -

OK man, let's see what you think of this. I wanted the logo to be a little smaller here, but the background pic I'm using here doesn't allow for that. Anyway, hope you like it.

To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

Ah, now I see... I was confused trying to figure out which was the blue and green dragon (singular). I even called in the wife to see if it was my color blindness that was the problem. So you want the dragon*S*. Ok, got it. They'll be smaller (and thus probably a little better looking) so they'll both fit on one screen. Cool?

Well, I see that my little corner of AF here has had it sticky status changed yet again. Yeah, that's just great. Let me see if I can explain my feelings on the matter clearly here -

As I've already discussed with one of the mods the last time this happened, (a couple of weeks ago!) I'm really questioning how much they value the work I put in to this thread...

They've linked to your thread in the new sticky. They've been chopping and changing a lot recently. I think they're just trying to work out a formula for putting all the important/popular/repetitive threads in one place without having too many stickies. And they also need to work it so that the content of the new stickies isn't ignored or missed by new users as that just defeats the purpose.

I don't seem to have save just the original background on that one, so here's my best try at recreating it. Hope that works for you.

You know how to save 'em, so-

Yeah, I saw that. It just seems to me that a lot fewer people are likely to find my little thread in a generic wallpaper thread (one in which the first link gets posted in roughly once a month or so), when they want my help.

Hey, I understand that they can set things up however they want. That's not my call. However, that does not oblige me to like it. And, as I have no say in the matter, that only leaves me with a couple of choices.

Edit: FYI - For reasons solely my own, I've asked that this thread be removed from any stickies. I just don't want to see it bounce around any more.

Having made wallpapers before I know how much time and effort you put into these ... many many members appreciate your work and that wont change. I dont think the mods are trying to spite you or diminish your work ... they are just trying to find the right setup for the site. I cant imagine there will be few requests because of the structure change. Head up dude, you do amazing work. Cheers

Back again with another quick request. Been busy getting ready for exams (last one tomorrow, yay) so I haven't had time to do much of anything besides study recently.

I ran into a unforeseen complication with my idea, when using Sense I don't have any way of turning off wallpaper scrolling, so the shelves don't fit on one screen. I decided just to use LPP and do the same layout, but I need a dock that fits with the layout. The only icon I need on it is an app drawer icon, since the other four icons will be on the shelves. I don't have any real specifications, anything that fits with the "theme" and layout of the room is fine with me.

No rush, as always, I doubt I'll have time to test it out today anyway.

Hey Toasty -

So what is it you want? Just a one space dock that fits the previous wallpaper? Should the dock be attached to the wallpaper? Should an app drawer icon be attached to that? Does the wallpaper need any modification to work with the new set-up?

OK, I think I've got it. The 3rd question was asking if I was attaching the dock to the wallpaper whether or not I should also attach an icon so that you could use an invisible icon over that. But from what you've said, it seems clear not. I'll see if I can come up with anything good for a 1 space dock, but I've got to warn you, I've not been real happy with my previous dock attempts. Check back when you get the time and good luck on your finals!

Ah. Its up to you really. You can place the icon directly on the dock if that would be easier, either way works out fine for me.
Thank ya.

Heres the currently finished product. I might tweak the widget placement some more, I haven't decided yet.
Thanks again for the wallpaper and dock.

I Like it. I thought all the open space on top was for a clock/weather widget... Anyway, it's always nice to see the screenshots. Thanks for putting it up.

That came out really well. very creative. I was wondering what the shelves were for.

I reckon toasty should put an analogue clock widget in. Match it up so it looks like it's hanging on the wall.

I was considering it, but I haven't found a skin for an analogue clock that I like. I found a few that came close, but some tiny almost insignificant feature annoyed me enough to where I didn't want to use it.

Thanks for the input.

Try Custom Clock Widget. Like this guy

You can customise every part of the clock and add a shadow to make it look like it's hanging on the wall

Hey mate, I would be very grateful if you could make me a 480x800 wallpaper of something with the umbrella corporation logo in it. Tired of using a black background with a logo of it in between(I'm a noob at photoshop). Would be very pleased if you could make something special out of it.

I can probably come up with something for you. Let me ask you a couple of questions - Are you sure you want it 480x800? That's the size for a single screen, suitable for multi pic live wallpaper or a lockscreen, for example. A normal wallpaper for your phone is 960x800 to allow for scrolling across multiple screens. Just checking so I don't have to re-do it.

Also, did you have anything in mind for a background? Colorful, dark, minimalistic, an RE pic of some sort, maybe just a cool texture, etc... Can you give me something to go on?

Well actually when I wrote this, I required it for WidgetLocker, but since I am now back on the stock lock screen, I require it as a wallpaper so its 960x800

Forgot what I wrote about umbrella logo. I basically utilize the android phone 7 theme so my homescreens are full of tiles thus you mostly can't see the background image except when you scroll through the screen or on the default lock screen. I don't like it plain black, it becomes boring. I would be very grateful if you could make a black background with a image or design on it that fits perfectly to the android 7 setup. This is how my main homescreen looks like.

lock screen blank and background appearance while scrolling

A background of this type looks good on such setup since it blends in with the tiles.

Alright, hussain, let's see how this works with your set-up. Let me know what you think...

To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

Click the pic ↓

Edit: Re-reading your last message, now I'm not sure I got what you meant. Did you no longer want the Umbrella corp. logo at all? Just something abstract on a black background? Is so, let me know and I'll work something else up.

it looks great, thanks! would be grateful if you could make the same one but with blue and green carbon particles to represent the T and G virus.

and yes, i would like a abstract wallpaper too on a black background.

once again, thank you very much for the wallpaper.

this is great, perfectly blends in with the setup and could look even more better with brighter/vivid colours.

thanks again.

eyebeam old buddy...I got a challenge for you.

I'm going to create a new 3 page home setup again...SIMILAR in design to how the 'Andy's' were done...as in semi 'live' looking graphics mounted onto the wallpaper itself as seperate pages..

I'm going to be creating a tiled look, similar sort of thing to windows phone but more like this here

xda-developers - View Single Post - [Collection] ICON SETS | About *600* different Icon Packs [INDEX on 2nd post]

what I wanna know is IF I give you the screen shots (in full resolution and clear etc) and the original wallpaper....can you 'create' the tiled effect, so I can just stick any icon top without the hassle of actually making EVERY icon I want into the right tile shape and size etc...but have it ALL done in the wallpaper itself?

EDIT: Obviously, I'm looking right now for the right wallpaper and icons to make it look right...so might be a day just doing that lol

If I understand what you want, then yes, I think I can do it. That's if.

Here's a quick mock-up of what I think you're asking for.

Is that more or less what you're talking about?

OK. Just send me the screenshots with everything in place when you're ready, and I'll get the background tiles in place on the wallpaper.

Thanks T2 - Looks great, as usual. You picked a great time to help out again. I've got a bunch of family in town this weekend, so I'll be pretty busy the next 3 days, thus what I get done in here will probably be hit or miss.

I couldn't find a bigger version, and thus had to almost double it's size, so, here's about the best I can make that look. Sorry it's not better.

You know how to save 'em, so -
Click the pic ↓

Edit: Here's a version a little smaller, but sharper. Might be better for you...
