Hi eyebeam....my computer (the Mac) doesn't like me right now (I think it might be dying) and I don't have the patience for SUMO tonight so.......can you help me please??

I am using a single screen and the dock and top bar are an odd shade of gray -
see screenshot here

I would like to use this wallpaper but need it to be squashed and the color tweaked so there isn't as much of that blinding white at the bottom and so it blends better with the top and bottom. I am in absolutely no rush.

It mostly works. Can the top and bottom be closer to the color of the gray and fade into the original background? I know I'm a pain!

It looks good, BB. But now that I see what you're going for, it being squished bugs me (Maybe you too?) So I took another shot at it. I couldn't find the same corner border, and I couldn't get a clean cut of the existing one, so I found something as similar as I could. Since you're not scrolling the wallpaper, I just ignored the sides. Let me know how this works out for you.

I've been trying to find a good Surge (the old soda) wallpaper, can't find one that fits right and don't know what I'm doing when it comes to making my own. I would appreciate it very much if you could make me a wallpaper with the Surge logo for my Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (AKA Samsung Exhibit II 4G).

Can you tell me something of how you'd like the background to look? Bright & busy, something minimalistic, any color preferences, etc.?

Kind of minimal, but if you want to do something else to make it a little more creative, go for it. I only use 3 screens so if the Surge logo could fit on my main screen without being cut off by the side screens, that would be great, then if you want to throw in some things to the side to make it a little more busy, that would be fine too.

Maybe put the Surge logo on a black background with splashes of green being shot off around it or something. If you have any better ideas, don't hesitate to just go for it.

So I was poking around Google to see if I could find a better pic of that gear wallpaper to work with, and lo and behold, I stumble across the the .xcf (Gimp) file of a very similar one! So, I m,ade a few extra layers, and put a new background on it that I think matches your color scheme better. What do ya think?

All the awesome stuff you have made, for me and others, and I have been rocking the same wallpaper for going on... hell I dont know, 2 years? You know the one I mean? Goole multi-colored on top, Android at bottom with robot in middle?

Any chance of getting that to work on a Transformer Prime? Not even sure what the resolution is for real

Hey there CW (he knows what I mean...), been a while indeed.

Wow, 2 years with the same wallpaper?!? That's gotta be some kind of a record!

First things first: Let's see if I've got the wallpaper size right (tablets are always a pain to figure out!) From what I can tell, it should be 1920x1408. As a test, how about you download this template, set it as your wallpaper, and let me know if I have the right dimensions/resolution.

If that size works, then great. I think I can do it, sort of. I'm not sure I can blow up the original background that large without an unacceptable loss of quality. However, I can probably make something similar. Sound ok? The rest of it should go smoothly.

I was playing around with the original background on that wall to see if I could use it at tablet size, and I think I got it looking pretty good. As I said in my previous post, the rest was easy. So I just went ahead and completed it at the size I believe should be correct. Let me know how it goes.

Looks good, NA! As I mentioned in my PM, after seeing your tablet's home screen set up, I thought that wallpaper it might look better with a smaller foreground. Give this a try and see if you agree.

Hey, I was really debating about asking again, I really don't want to ask for too much, but if you feel like making another wallpaper at some point, I was wondering if you could make me another Surge one with the other logo. But really, don't go out of your way or anything at all, if you can't find a good logo or something, really don't bother.

I just love the other wallpaper you made me and I figured it'd be cool to have another to switch to once in a while. You can do it a lot like the other one or if you have another idea, that's fine too, the other one came out great. Only thing I prefer is a dark background is all, I do really like the black and green though.

Even if you don't make it, thanks again.
