Back again with another request eyebeam.

I'd like a digimon wallpaper this time beowulfmon and ancientgraymon standing near eachother. The background would be the trickier part I think. Mountain/volcano type thing for graymon and forest/tundra type thing for Beowulf. And some sort of mixing of the two in the middle. If it isn't very doable just split it down the middle. Please and thanks.

On a side note. Have you ever thought of making a wallpaper app? You certainly have enough and enough variety for it to hold its own, free or not. You'd also have all of us to promote it and get word out.

Hmmm... I'll see what I can do. Finding the right backgrounds could be tough. Give me a bit on this one...

Nah, not really a consideration. One - it sounds like a lot of work. Two - Since I use elements of other peoples work in a lot of my wallpapers (granted - very rarely unchanged, but still...), I don't think it would be cool to make an app claiming them as my own.

If you haven't noticed virtually all wallpaper apps offer work from outside sources. Most are made up entirely of site rips, free downloads and Google images. You actually work with the image.

Alright - see if this is the look you're after. Let me know if not.

While I was at it, I also took the liberty of making it a more phone friendly size of 1440x1280. It's still a little larger than your phone needs (But will still work fine), but usable by anyone else who might like it as well. I also thought a bit of film grain and some beveling gave it a nice look, but if that's not what you wanted, I can remove those easily enough.

Oh and I been using your Freemason backgrounds too but I want one for my Xoom tablet with just a solid blue background and a basic square and compass and in front of it the letters A.F.&A.M and of you could do that one also for me that'd be awesome

I wonder if there is some kind of template I could use to make my own wallpaper for my Galaxy Ace. I googled and found a three-part wallpaper template, but my phone has four parts. Grrhh.

Hi light touch - welcome to AF.

I'm not sure what you mean by a 3 part template or that your phone has four parts. Are you talking about the number of home screens?

Anyway, the general rule of thumb for Android wallpapers is that the wallpaper should ideally be the same height of your phones screen resolution and twice as wide. So for the Galaxy Ace, with a screen resolution of 320w x 480h, the wallpaper is best at 640w x 480h.

Here's a template that size:
640x480_wallpaper_template.png

The red area is what will be on the center screen if you have an odd number of home screens. Since I think you're saying that you have 4 screens, I'm not quite sure where the home screen will be. But if you set this template as your wallpaper, you should be able to gauge by the lines what area the home screen occupies on a standard 640x480 wallpaper.

Hope that helps, and get back to me if you need any clarification.
