Default GTV: Output Tablet Audio Directly To GTV

Problem: I would like the ability to wirelessly stream the audio output from my tablet to my AV receiver. The available options for this are as follows:

Bluetooth: There are devices available like this (RocketFish Bluetooth Music Receiver) that let me pair my tablet/phone to the device and connect it to my AV receiver using a 3.5mm or Optical jack.
Pros: Pairs like a bluetooth speaker, simple, cheap(ish)
Cons: Lossy quality, short range, interference at short range reported by current users

Google TV: This is where we have a gap. Can anyone recommend an option here? My GTV optical out is plugged into my AV Receiver. Is there an APP that would allow me to select something on my tablet that would say something like "Output Sound to GTV" so whatever would normally come out of my tablet is streamed to the GTV (hopefully over wifi).

Thanks!
