Default MK809 II Android 4.1 Dual Core 1.6GHz Bluetooth Mini PC TV Stick

I've just placed my order(mk809 II) from lightake yesterday and am waiting for its arrival.Actually,I've already got two tv sticks,MK808 and UG007,both of them have some compatible problems, like MK808 kind of have lags when working with webcam and UG007 can't run my samsung hardware.I found some information about mk809 II,it is said that the device can be compatible with all external equipments, like webcam,hardware,keyboard... don't know how it really works, need to hands-on when I got that.

My MK809-II with the same spec's has been ordered 2 weeks ago, but it is not yet delivered. As soon as it has arrived and installed I can try it out. We can share our knowledge.

I have my MK809-II working. Wifi is weak with just enough signal (-70Db) at 8 meters from the router. Works perfect with a wireless (nano) keybaord/mouse.

Hi,

I just got one of these devices, and am quite impressed! I was, however, hoping to use a 3g dongle to give it access to the internet when on holiday (no WiFi there). Has anyone managed to get a 3g dongle to connect using this device? The 'Mobile Networks' option doesn't seem to be on the Settings page, but it seems to support a USB Host and ethernet connection.

I have used a 4 port USB hub and fitted it to the host inlet.
I also purchased a Wii lan usb adaptor.
It seems that when you channel the lan through the hub it blocks all signals from both a wired and wireless keyboard so as there is no OTG inlet, it is likely that even if you can get a 3g dongle to work, it will block the mouse controls.
As soon as I plugged the lan usb adaptor into the hub, the mouse pointer disappeared off screen.
If anyone can throw any light on this problem, it would be appreciated.

As far I can read, it seems this thread solves my question in some way... http://androidforums.com/google-tv/688766-androidtv-upgrade-ug007-mk808.html

Just bought one of these off ebay and impressed so far. My other android stuff is phone an Asus 300t so not exactly a novice.

But one question, how the heck to I get it to work with my 2.4g keyboard. If I put in the usb dongle it works great, but I thought it is supposed to support 2.4g natively?

Default K9 - problem streaming over wi-fi with wireless mouse attached!

Hi, hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread but my problem is kind of related? ............
I brought the k9 a few weeks ago but have only just found time to play with it and have encountered a strange problem when playing mkv files from network shares over wi-fi. Initially the streaming was ok using mxplayer, navigating the screen using a wired mouse. However, a problem arose when I replaced the mouse with a wireless version. Suddenly, playback would stutter then stop completely shortly after playback was started. At first I didn't realise the cause of the problem but after trying several changes to mxplayer without success I finally replaced the wireless mouse with the wired version and to my amazement the video played back without any problems!. Has anyone else come across this type of problem? or know of a workaround - I really want to be able to use a wireless mouse.

Hi,

Seems that your wireless mouse makes interferences. Try with USB extension cord and move usb mouse receiver from device.

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. I attached the wireless mouse receiver to a USB hub connected to the k9 and this solved the problem. Thanks for your advice.

Hi, I bought recently a MK809 II Android 4.1 Dual Core 1.6GHz Bluetooth Mini PC TV Stick. Is there a way to connect my laptop to this device so my computer screen can be duplicated on my tv through the MK809?
Thanks

Default How about resolution?

I would be so grateful if someone could confirm if this mini pc would would be compatible with the 1366x768 resolution.

I have 3 LG Tv-s with this resolution, and I have content with exactly 1366x768 to diplay.

Please if someone could confirm this I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks,
Ved

That's strange. I picked up an MK808 and was really impressed with the wireless strength. I'd heard that was an issue with these, but I guess I got a good one.
