Hi guys, I was hoping someone could give me a quick how-to on making my app aware of the date. I bought my wife a new android phone for Christmas and I wanted to make a small app that would display a message after Christmas.

I just want her to press a series of buttons that makes a picture of a gift 'unwrap' (I have this part done). I just want the final button to determine if it is before Christmas or not.

Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated!

Use the Clock component. I think you can use it to check what the month/date are.
