A friendly Q.
Hi Guys I bought 'App Inventor for Android' By: Jason Tyler last night from Barns and Noble, after much frustration I learned that this book may be out of date. I was following the instructions in appendix A; setting up my computer with available download content for, Java, when I couldn’t connect to Google’s domain name;
googlelabs.com /learn/setup/setupwindow.htlm
(First Post, forum room wont let me creat a link^^, sorry)
I was extremely excited to finally be able to work with, what I thought, is amazing software. I am not giving up yet. I will continue to search for ways to use App Inventor. What I need to know is, should I return the book for a more up to date version or keep the book and use it as reference because MIT has a domain name I can use to access any downloadable content....
