Default OTA Updates

Hi,

Does anyone know how to setup Over The Air updates for apps developed via App Inventor?

Cheers,

Juan

Post your app to Google Play. When you post an update there, anyone who has downloaded your app will be notified.

Thank you!

However this is a private app for a company. Is there another way to do OTA updates for these kind of apps?

I havent heard of an app inventor app running in the background yet. At least I havent tried it. You would need to have it in the background listening for a notice.

The only other way I can this of is use dropbox or some other server, with a folder that is set to sharing, but only you have give out the link. Have a mailing list that sends out the message with the link to the updated APK in that folder. People click the link and see the APK. Click the link starts the download, and install.
