Building Android Apps book by Mike Mcgrath
Hi,
I am trying to use Appinventor using the book by Mike Mcgrath ' Building Android Apps'. I can't get past page 14. Where it says 'Open a web browser and navigate to App Inventor at appinventor.mit.edu then accept the Terms of Service if requested to open the App Inventor "Projects Page". That is where I get stuck. I get to web page there is no “projects page” shown. If I click on Welcome to MIT App Inventor I can then click on 'Invent - Go to Appinventor' which times out. I get exactly nowhere.
If I try this on my wife's laptop. It all works!!!! I do not want to use the laptop I want to run this software on the main house computer which runs at 2.2Ghz with 2meg of ram and WinXP and Mozilla Firefox ver17.01 all according to the book is above the required spec for Appinventor.
Any body got any good ideas on our to overcome this?
