Description
Lingo Quiz is a flash card application for both advanced learners who prefer to have personal dictionaries and beginners who are looking for existing dictionaries.
Import words from everywhere, translate them on the go and learn with the help of four different study types. It is easy to open web site or book on desired language and import all content to your own dictionary. Automatic translation protects you from manual searching and typing. Study reminder helps you to build your own schedule.
Support of Abbyy Lingvo, AnyMemo, Anki, Vocabilis and custom (CSV) dictionaries allows to start learning in several minutes. Integration with ColorDict, Golden Dict, Fora and Google Translate helps with translation. Ability to share text with app from most of the applications including book readers (FBReader, Cool Reader, Moon+ Reader) allows to maintain your vocabulary. Also application supports online flash card services like Flashcard Exchange and Quizlet.
Besides mentioned functionality application provides words pronunciation by Android's TTS, manual adding of dictionaries, words and translations, full-text search, export of dictionaries to CSV, different types (type, find, match, guess) and directions (guess word, translation, mixed) of studying, multilingual UI, set of default dictionaries including English (IELTS), Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Czech, Polish.
Full version is ad-free, it supports import from plain files and dictionaries.
