New App: OCR+Photo Search App for TMobile G1
Photograph a newspaper or magazine page, the app shows related Twitter/Google/Wikipedia results on the phone.

Newly uploaded videos don't show up right away for G1 users.
Awesome looking app - Jack Bauer, James Bond, etc this is their type of tool. Although they would tie it into more government search.

We have an OCR engine here at work that we wrote (based on a neural net). I would love to do some side by side comparisons

From what I recall (over a year ago) when iPhones got YouTube...each video uploaded is done in their web format first. Then at some "undefined" later date they end up in mobile formats. So don't hold your breath.

I finally saw the video last night at home on my PC... looks very promising... but the number of search result trails that you could go down are more than a rabbit warren ...

I have to say my first impressions of this were not good, large fonts seem to confuse this app. I scanned a few books on video compression algorithms and nothing, but I persisted, and my persistence paid off big time.
Aha! I thought, I should stop coding (I stop getting paid after 6pm) and start studying, so out came my psychology reference tome and I randomly opened the page on Freud and snapped a shot with this app and the results were astonishing!
It's good, it could do with some improvement but all in all 4/5
