Arrow AppBrain: browse Market & install/uninstall apps from the web

You might want to try

http://www.appbrain.com to find great apps for your Android phone.

On the site you can directly install apps from the web browser and get them on your phone with the native Android app (AppBrain market sync).

Also you can share your apps with friends, for example check out my app list

I am looking forward to your comments. Thanks!
Uwe

Great idea! Did you design this or just come across it? Its really a smart way to browse lots of apps and then send them to your phone, I like it a lot!

Thanks for all your great feedback!

We just launched a major update to the app and the website. It now has personalized app recommendations based on the apps you already like. Check it out: Find great Android apps and games - AppBrain

Looking forward to your comments.

Thanks,

Shame it's blocked at work for some reason. Anything that might be blocking it? Our company uses Websense and it's the first Android related site I've come across that's been blocked.

This is a great idea/site and I wish Google had done something like this with the Android Market right from the start!!!

I have a problem with this application I have problems to install/uninstall for two applications; “Street View on Google Maps” and “Google Maps”. During installation something went wrong. Now I can see these two application in my application lists in their web and also in my phone but it shows as 0 kb. I can not start them, I can not uninstall them neither from my phone nor from their web pages. I also applied factory reset to my phone but even that didn’t help. Any suggestions?
