Default Helidroid 3D : Helicopter game for Android

Helidroid 3D is a realistic 3D game, which let you control a little RC helicopter in a house.

The first part takes place in a bedroom, where you have to accomplish 30 missions : At the beginning, there are only easy misisons, like taking off from the bed and landing on the desk.
But Step by step, the missions will become more and more complicated, and a lot of new toys will appear, like a car-circuit or an electronic-train...
When you finish the game, you become a real pilot !

If you find some bugs, tell me by email, and i will fix it as soon as possible !
Besides, if you have any idea of new missions, or any comments to make, thank you to sending me an email.

Best regards,
Michael

Hey! This game is really cool!! Thanks!

I fly helicopters in Microsoft Flight Simulator X a lot, and I also have 4 RC helicopters of various sizes, and use PC simulators to help learn how to fly them better, but I am not a "3D" stunt performance flyer. I prefer the slower, more exacting "scale" style of flying, and most of my time is spent hovering in my driveway as I learn the nuances of control as affected by the wind, etc. So this is just another way to brush up my skills.

I think the fact that you do not have a variable view angle will actually help me learn how to better judge a landing in FSX. It is always tricky trying to determine what point on the ground is actually under the helicopter as you are descending and moving forward and you don't have true 3D vision to see around you and where the helicopter really is. The first time I tried your Mission 2 into the enclosed shelf, I thought I had nailed it and when I descended to land I actually dropped OUTSIDE the shelf completely, and had to back away, pull up, and approach again.

This works fine on my Droid X, which is running GB .650 and CM7. I am going to try it out on my Acer A500 tablet next.

Happy flying!

Hi,
I am glad to tell you that a new version of Helidroid is now released on the Android Market :

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.heuer.helidroid

This version brings a lot of new fonctionnalities, like :

- Add a "cockpit view"
- Add Helicopter's shadow
- Add a dynamic camera
- Remove Ads during the game.
- Remove intrusive Permissions (Read_Phone_State)
- Add options about sound and music
and as usual "- Bugs Correction" ^^

I hope you will appreciate this version, and I would like to say thank you again for all you suggestions and comments on this forum and on the Android Market !

Have a nice day,
Michael

Moving to the Application Announcements forum, as it is better suited for that location.
