New and updated GPS apps

I have just updated my GPS app called GPS Test in the Android market.

I also have a paid version called GPS Test Plus, that includes Speedo, Compass and Altimeter.

If you need to view / record NMEA data generated by the GPS in your Android phone, check out my new app GPS Nmea Monitor. It records to the SD card.

If you search for "Chartcross Limited" in the Android market you will see all of my apps.

GPSTest and GPSTest Plus now have the European Datum (ED50) for central Europe and a separate datum for Spain and Portugal. I have also added Blue and Orange colour schemes.

There seems to be a issue with time and dates on some Samsung devices. I am looking into this at the moment.

Samsung time issue now fixed in GPS Test Plus. A new version of the free program will be relased next week. This new version now supports location sharing.

A new version of GPS Test Plus is available. It has fixes for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and devices without GPS.

Hi, quick question, does this app need to be connected to the internet to work, does it use data? Reason I ask is because I want to have a speedo for my boat in spain, but dont want one that uses the internet as this will cost me a lot with data whilst roaming!
So basically I am after a speedo app that will work with my mobile in flight mode, but with the GPS still turned on!

You do not need a data connection in order for GPS Test to work
