Default Mhz value in Custom Kernel?

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me.

I am not a dev, just a user.

I have 2 custom kernels, both for the DeFrost ROM on the HTC Desire.

They are both SVS kernels, one newer than the other.

They both OC at 1190Mhz, except the older one had an incorrect multiplier and it was believed to OC at 1305Mhz. Set CPU shows 1305Mhz, even though it is 1190Mhz.

I want to revert to this old kernel as it was more stable.

Does anyone know how I can edit the kernel to show the correct values? Is there a single file in the tree I can swap from the newer kernel to get the same values?

Or am I just barking up the wrong tree altogether?

I don't know much about development or kernels, so if you need further information, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.
