Question Could use some help, please...

Hi all,

I'm a newbie when it comes to developing on Android, and I'm working on a project for a course I'm taking.

The project is developing an application for media streaming between 2 nearby phones over WiFi, and should enable the user to find a nearby device, share the media and play it (using media player library).

I could really use your help on getting started - Which libraries should I use? How does the whole WiFi part works in Android?

Thanks

Is this your required assignment, or an idea you had? Connecting 2 phones by WiFi is a ton of work and wont work on most android phones.

Default The Project Requirements

Hi,

The required assignment is to build an application that streams media between nearby phones using WiFi. It also says that the communication shall be done using a "group communication system", which I'm not really sure what it means.

Thanks again for the help.
