Hi,
Im trying to write a application,which takes name,phone number ,facebook id,twitter id and adds to the contacts application.

for name,phonenumber - already contacts have a defined MIME type - and can be added - no issues :-)

for facebookid ,twitter id - which are not defined already in contacts application - how do i add these custom fields in contacts - thru my appliation programatically .. :-(

please help !!!!!!

I have a similar issue and cannot find anything to help resolve. If anyone can help, please respond.

I think they use the built in "profile action" and "status" fields
