Hello all,

My company has a great deal of experience in web development, and are just getting started in app development. We have a client who is interested in creating an Android app for a board game he developed years ago. It's a relatively simple game, sort of a cross between Chinese Checkers and regular Checkers (all 2D).

The game will allow for two people to play against each other over the network, or a player can play against the computer. My company will be providing the graphic design, all we're looking for is the development work.

I've been looking for a developer for about a week now who can help with this project, and have gotten numerous bids. People are saying it is going to cost anywhere from $1500 to over $100,000.

Based on what I've outlined here, can anyone tell me what a legitimate price estimate would be? (as well as an estimated timeframe) Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

it depends on where you find the developer, and how good he/she is. if you find a developer in Indian or China, the price will probably $1500

You might get a better answer on the android message board for unity 3d. Should be a decent place to start searching for freelance game developers, which is probably what you'll need unless you have gobs of money.

Android Development
