Hi, I'm very new to the mobile app world.

I have an app idea that requires the app to go online and read/write from a shared server space. Very much like writing to a forum and retrieving the latest post from a forum.

My question is:
Where can i get the hosting of that space? Will Android market do it for me if the space is very minimal? Or do I have to own a webserver?

Answer is : U have to get your own space.

Question is : will u be able to write to server directly through your android device ???
Suggestion is : best to create some sort of web-service that will act as intermediate b/w your android device and server
