Default need help in geolocation

Well i am just new to the whole android programming thing , i want to create an android application where it would send its location to a web page(which also has a google map). like tracking an android phone live , i mean if it moves , you will be able to see it via the webpage.

i was wondering if GPS is the good way to go. can u guys please tip me off with some nice ideas on how to deal with that problem ?

yea like the android app will send its coordinates to the webpage. and the webpage will in turn show the location of the android device on the google map(the map is found on the webpage) but when the android device changes location , it should show up in the webpage's map. like tracking the device
