I'm an iPhone developer myself (so I don't qualify), but Ericsson's got a great android app competition. With a 15,000 euros prize!!!
Thought I'd share, since this forum's helped me a lot in the past.
Worth a look.

Thanks for putting the links in. Nope, it mentions West Africa, but it's open to everyone. So that shouldn't be an issue. If it ever is, give me a shout and i'll chase it up internally in Ericsson if I can.
