Question Source Control

Somebody here use a source control? Or a place to post code?

I read about Github and code.google.com

Both are good options to post code and manage it online for an open source project.

How about subversion or cvs, both are good.

I have tried both code.google.com and github, I haven't found advantages of one over the other, I haven't looked into code.google.com as much so I'm not positive if they offer private repositories so only you can are the code, however I know github does of you buy their membership.

Thanks for the answers.

Some of them offer a software for source control? Something like the source control of TFS with check ins and diferences?
