I asked this in an earlier threat but I got no replies, and it might be because my question was a bit vague.

Most of the applications on Android Market are offered for free, so developer's must have other ways for making money. What are the most common tools/ways/tactics that developers use to make money on Android Market? I know that some developers use Admob or Adsense, but many also claim that Admob income is way bellow their expectations. Some say they use Ad push but some others (including consumers) do not like ad push!

So as a researcher on the Android Market, I still have not come to a conclusion on how you guys can make money on Android. Please share your opinion here. Thank you!
