Default NoClassDefFoundError

Hello everyone,

I have written my first app that is designed to communicate with Robots using ROSJAVA. The app compiles and builds with no errors however, as soon as it launches on my device, I see a ClassDefNotFound exception that terminates the program.

I've googled and read through some solutions but I haven't managed to solve the problem. here is one and NoClassDefFoundError Android - Stack Overflow.

By the way, I'm using API level 3.2.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Default Thank you for your response

Thanks so much for your response and sorry for late reply. I believed that I would receive and email upon a new reply.

Could you please provide me information. I'm very new to Android programming and honestly, didn't know that I have to mention the class names in the manifest file.

I did look into my manifest file (both AndroidManifest.xml and manifest.xml) and couldn't find the class name. Could you please direct me to the proper reference how to fix that?

Thanks so much.

are you using external jars or libraries? (like in-app billing, ad-mob, LVL license lib, support lib, etc).

If you do, you should remove and re-add them.

Then be sure under your project properties > build path they are set to export. (just your added libraries like the support library or license library, no need to export the regular Android lib).
