Default How do I make the screen scrollable when a keyboard pops up?

I'm fairly new to android programming and I'm writing a simple app that performs some math calculations. I'm having the user enter some information in a couple edittexts. When the keyboard pops up though, it covers the submit button on the bottom. I can make the entire layout scrollable, but then you can scroll too far. How do I make it so that, when the keyboard is up, you can scroll down to see other information (like buttons, textviews, etc)?

Without making the hole layout scrollable and adding padding at the bottom of the ScrollView, I cant really think of a means to do this. Unfortunately this is one of the caveats of software keyboards--they take up screen real estate. With that said, depending on the components used, you could alter theor height when tbe keyboard is in view to compensate for the size of the keyboard.
