Change MenuItem when it is being shown

Hi all!

I need to disable a menuitem when it is being shown.
Are there any way to do it?
The function onPrepareOptionsMenu is called every time before to show the menu, I know. But it doesn't solve my problem, because I need disable a menuitem when it is being shown if a certain thing happen.
