I would like to become an android developer but I need a little help. So far I've made the hello android app, a flashlight app that turns the screen white, and I'm working on a simple night clock that displays the time. But anything beyond that I'm lost. I'm good with computers and can pick stuff up fairly quickly, I just need someone to explain it all to me. I have a widget idea that might be useful if it's even possible. If you are willing to help me out please send me a pm.

I need opinions from devs here about the technical feasability of having different game apps on the android, free with advertisements, since I am in a country that isn't enabled for selling on the Marketplace. The games in questions are Wolfentein Enemy Territory and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, who were recently released as GPL.

They are still very popular and it'd be awesome to see either running on some Android phones. I would like to keep this a community thing. There's some interest from other communities like maemo to get this working on the n900.
