Default Help with android.telephony package

Hey guys,

new to android Dev, but got a bit of experience in RF.

My question is:

In the class android.telephony.SignalStrength, there is two methods for getting the EC/IO data. getCdmaEcio() and getEvdoEcio().

My main issue is: how to get the value for a WCDMA / UMTS network.

I went into tech-mode, and didn't saw EC/IO being tracked anywhere.

However, there is a value called ASU, which I beleive is :

(113 - actualDb) * 2... which is irrelevant really.

If anyone knows if adressing this issue is possible, or will come in a futur SDK release, please let me know.

You can reach me at philippe.girard.log@gmail.com if needed.

Thanks
