I don't use wake on LAN anywhere, but I can see how it'd be a useful thing to be able to trigger from your phone.

I just downloaded the "Locale Wake On Lan Plugin". It workes well! You can let it send the Magic Packet depending on where you are automatically.

With Locale and the Wake On LAN Plug-in (WOL), your phone can wake up a sleeping computer when you are in a specific situation, for example entering Work.

Your computer needs to be configured to be able to wake up. Most Laptops need to be plugged in.
This is a plug-in: it requires the free "Locale" from the Android Market.

You usually have to enable it in the bios. That "press F2 to enter setup" when you first boot the computer.
