Application Lock

I think many people will benefit from this application of app-by-app lock.

When an application is clicked e.g. Messages, a password or pattern screen pops up.

There is an application for that on the iPhone (jailbroken) called Lockdown.

So anything similar with that concept in mind would be great!

Oh, I clicked on this topic (from google) thinking someone had finally made this type of app for android. I don't understand why it hasn't been created yet apart from that there must be some serious technical difficulty in making it, as it seems to be highly sought after and every conversation or request for it gets no replies.

This would be an excellent application to have for the Android OS platform.
Palm had it for their OS and I loved the application.

Anyone willing to develope this could make serious $$$ (assuming the SDK supports)
